We are truly sorry to hear about the eviction notice and the challenges you're facing, especially during this time of year. We commend you for your faith and trust in God, even in these difficult circumstances.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up this dear sister to you, Lord. She has been served with an eviction notice and is facing a challenging time with four children and the holidays approaching. Lord, you know her needs and the desires of her heart to provide for her children.
Father of the fatherless and protector of widows, God in your holy dwelling.
God, who seats the lonely in their own households, leads out those supporting having a family.
You lead the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
Father, you are a shield for her and her children and a refuge for all who trust in you. You are the eternal God, your dwelling place is the most high. You are a refuge and a fortress from every storm of life. You are our Rock.
You are the defender of the widows and the father to the fatherless. Turn things around and make things better.
Father, you are the God who provides. You sent manna from heaven to feed your people, and you sent your Son to be the Bread of Life. We ask that you provide for this sister and her family in their time of need.
Help the brothers and sisters of our group in their time of need, holding nothing back, having everything in common and use what resources we have to help them. God sent your Son to be the light of the world, and we ask that you bring light into their situation this Christmas.
Touch the hearts of others to reach out and help this sister and her family. You are clear what your perfect will is, we just need to clarify it. Romans 12:2.
We pray all these requests to the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask all these things and know you have already placed this sister on your heart, for Jesus promised that we could come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Jesus told us whatsoever things we desire, when we pray in faith and in His name, we shall receive them.
Father, no good thing do you withhold from those who walk uprightly, Who love you and get themselves to serve you in all of life. You, knowing our requests before we even ask them, knowing our needs before we know them.
Two commands given by Christ, Love God and all of our neighbors as ourselves. That there is no other command. Love you with all of our heart all of our mind all of our soul and all of our might in this life and the life to come.
When we see a brother or sister in need, but have no pity on them, how can the love of God be in us? John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
We ask these things by your precious Son Jesus Christ, who you have given all authority in heaven and on earth.
In Jesus Christ's name Amen.
We encourage you. You are indeed a woman of faith and it blesses us to see how you trust in God.
Submit your request to God with thanksgiving. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 6: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
We also urge you to seek help from local churches and Christian communities. They may have resources and support systems in place to assist you during this time.
Proverbs 28:27 Whoever gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses.
Finally, remember that God's blessings are not always material. The greatest gift you can give your children is your love, your time, and your faith. Teach them about the true meaning of Christmas the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Continue to trust in God who is a loving Father, (Romans 8:28. All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.), and you declare your love for Him by holding onto His commandments and trusting Jesus with all your heart.
Just one more verse to remember:
We are finishing by remembering God's grace towards us. 2 Corinthians 8:9. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.
Keep us posted on progress of your situation and how God is using our prayers and support to improve your status.
The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.’ Numbers 6:24
