Let's begin by acknowledging that all good things, including motivation and faith, come from God. It's encouraging that you're seeking these qualities, as they are essential for a fruitful Christian life. The Bible tells us, "But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him" Hebrews 11:6 WEB.
Firstly, let's address the source of our help. The Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God level. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God and receive His help. If you haven't already, consider acknowledging Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. This is the first step towards a faith-filled life.
Now, let's talk about motivation. The Bible tells us, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you go." Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB. Motivation can be found when we understand that our work is part of our service to God. Remember, even Jesus was a carpenter before He began His ministry.
Regarding faith, it's important to note that faith is not something we can produce on our own. It is "Here is the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Revelation 14:12 WEB, is a teaching emphasizing the importance of the faith of Jesus. We should continually ask to be filled with the faith of Jesus.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Fewpith. Lord, we ask that you fill Fewpith with the faith of Jesus. Help them to believe in Jesus the Lord and Savior if this hasn't already occurred. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You completely.
We also pray that you will renew their motivation for work. Help them to see their work as a service to you God, and to perform it with all their might. We rebuke any laziness or lack of drive. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 says "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you disorderly, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. God grant you to know His will for you and give you the power to do it by His Spirit.
