Thank you for bringing David before us in prayer. We stand with you, asking that God's will be done in his life. Let us come together and intercede for him.
We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:10, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." This is our desire for David, that God's kingdom would come and His will be done in David's life.
We pray for David, the Bible tells us in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." We pray that David will continually ask, seek, and knock, aligning his life with God's will.
We are also reminded by Jesus Christ that it is only by him that we can approach God the Father: John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
We encourage anyone praying for David to remember the words in Acts 4:12 βThere is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.β We must remember David and pray that he knows and believes with all his heart that Jesus is the Messiah, and that it is only Jesus who will come to the Father on behalf of David.
Let us also encourage David with these words from Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." May David trust in God with all his heart, acknowledging Him in all his ways. Pray that he never relies on his understanding.
Together, let us ask that God's will be done in his life, knowing that God's will for him is perfect. May God give us and David wisdom and grace to accept all outcomes as a result of prayer. Give David a new heart to will and to do His will. We ask this request of God, the Father, in Jesus Christ name.
