Hello everyone! Let's lift up @MirandaT who's dealing with food poisoning and needs a quick recovery. Also, let's pray for @Bwaermir's sister-in-law who's in ICU with heart failure. Let's agree in Jesus' name!
We are glad to join you in prayer and seek God's will for your life. Firstly, it's wonderful that you acknowledged the Lord Jesus, though you haven't acknowledged His Lordship for salvation. Knowing it is only by the name Jesus and believing in Jesus Christ brings forgiveness of your sins. It's important to remember that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God and only by His name.
We have confidence that God hears your prayers because you prayed in the name of Jesus. As it is only by the name Jesus that we can be saved, we will discuss more about salvation after the prayer.
Let's bring your requests before the Lord together.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up these requests from Your child. Lord, we ask that You guide ### to the job that You have prepared for ###. Give ### wisdom and discernment in ### job search, and open the doors that You would have ### go through. We know that You have good plans for ###, plans to prosper ### and not to harm ###, plans to give ### hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Therefore pray that this is a job that will be a part of that plan. Pr 3:6(WEB) In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Lord, we also bring before You ### upcoming cardiac check-up. We pray for Your healing touch on ### body, and for the doctors to have wisdom and guidance as they perform the check-up Ps 55:22(WEB) Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Your will be done. Let ### rely on You for healing of course and let ### support the Doctors' advice.
Father, we also lift up ### child's exams to You. We pray for Your wisdom and knowledge to fill ### child's mind, and for ### to recall all that ### have studied. Give ### calmness and help ### focus on ### exams. Help ### do well. We know that success comes from You (Psalm 127:1, WEB), so we ask for Your favor on ### child's exams.
Father, we also pray by faith for ### salvation. There is no other name by which we may be saved other than Jesus Christ. We are also directed to be a part of the great commission based on Mt 28:19-20(WEB) 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. We have confidence before God Acts 4:12(WEB) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. We acknowledge that we are on a mission from God and we continue in the faith asking that no one will miss heaven because it was not shared with them. We must hear the whole council of God and pray by faith that You would give ### healing. But it would be reprehensible to overlook the need for a relationship with Jesus Christ. We would want people to come to Jesus Christ physically healed or not.
