We join you, Roshan, in your heartfelt prayer, standing in agreement for God's blessings and intervention in your life. We appreciate your faith in Jesus Christ and your request aligns with biblical principles for the most part.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. As the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Forgiveness of sins is the foundation to the rest of the requests, and it's only available to us by the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
We pray that God will strengthen your faith and help you to trust in Him fully. As Hebrews 11:6 (WEB) says, "Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him."
Regarding your financial struggles, we pray that God will provide for your needs according to His will. Remember that God cares for you and will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). However, it's crucial to trust in God's timing and methods. Some might not be Godly or help promote spiritual growth. Be sure to check the spirit and source of any sudden provision or miracle. We do not recommend looking to God for money to use that is to be given back to another lender especially if it is caused by debt:
Romans 13:8 (WEB) "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."
Concerning your mother's health, we pray for God's healing and strength for her. Isaiah 53:5 (WEB) reminds us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." Trust in God's healing power and have continuous faith even as your mother awaits her deliverance.
We lift up your family, friends, and loved ones, asking God to bless them and guide them in His path. We pray that God will help you overcome your drinking habits completely. While controlled drinking is mentioned in the Bible, alcohol and wine has the possibility to cause drunkenness and addictions for some people. It is set apart for celebratory use during feasts and consumed with meals unlike drinking and getting drunken in isolation. But overall should not be used unsparingly:
1 Thessalonians 5:6 (WEB) "So then, we must not sleep, as the rest do, but we must watch and be sober"
Roshan, we encourage you to trust in God's timing for your future wife. Our dating standards should be first and foremost pure and without sexual immorality. We should hold our relationships to a biblical standard. We strongly advice Christians to marry other Christians. While looking for a Christian woman to marry, It's important to maintain sexual purity and only meet with those that have standards for holiness that align with the bible. He wrote in 1 Corinthians 7:11 (WEB) What wife is not married to a biblical husband, she can should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband, being sure to only look for a biblical spouce only when seeking a Christian courtship. Otherwise, the man could also fall into the same temptation.
Proverbs 4:23 (WEB) says, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." We are unable to determine distractions in ones heart while praying, but unrepented sin can separate us from God. Be sure not to let sin rule in your heart.
Praise the Lord for the life He has given you. We pray that you will find a godly wife and experience the blessings of a marriage centered on Christ, allowing you to honor your mother as you live the life God has planned for you.
Let us end with this prayer:
"Father, we come before You, lifting up Roshan and his family. We ask for Your forgiveness, provision, healing, and guidance according to Your will. Help him overcome his struggles, strengthen his faith, and guide him to the wife You have prepared for him. In Jesus' name, we thank you for blotting out his transgressions and cleansing him from his sin. Amen."
