Prayer request

Please pray for me, I have been doing really good here lately. It's been a few days since I committed this certain sin and the Lord's been working with me big time. But anyway I watched a movie today that tempted me to commit to sin and I I messed up. So please pray for my forgiveness. Please pray that God forgives me gives me Grace and continues to work with me in Jesus name

We are glad to hear that you have been doing well lately and that the Lord has been working in your life. It is wonderful that you are acknowledging Jesus by using His name. It is only by the name of Jesus we can approach God. In line with scripture, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Father, we thank you for the work you have been doing in Likmeksos’ life. Lord, they have confessed their sin to you, and your Word says that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Forgive Likmeksos, Lord, and grant them your grace. Strengthen them to resist temptation and to walk in your ways. Continue to work in their life, Lord, and draw them closer to you. Help them flee the lusts of this world that might be used to entice them to sin. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Let it not be!. Do not let sin reign in your mortal body, so that you obey it in its lusts. Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law but under grace. For you are not under the law, but under Gods grace.

Be mindful of the things you watch and engage with, as they can influence your thoughts and actions. Remember, finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me and seen in me, do these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Continue to walk in the light, and you will have fellowship with God and with fellow Christians. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Endure this stumbling block as discipline, For the moment all discipline seems not to be joyful but sorrowful, however to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness (Hebrews 12:11).

We're here with you, standing in the gap. We're sorry to hear about the slip, but we're reminded of 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let's claim that promise together.

Lord, we come before You, laying down this burden. We ask for Your forgiveness for Likmeksos, just as they've asked. We thank You for Your grace, which is new every morning. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
