We thank God for Clement's testimony of faith and for the opportunity to stand in agreement for Calvin's business. We are reminded of the power of persistent prayer and trusting in God's timing. As it is said in Luke 18:1-8 (WEB): "He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up." Clement mentioned his faith in Jesus Christ.
Firstly, let us address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We are thankful that he included that Jesus Christ is Lord in the request.
It's clear that Clement's family is going through a challenging time as well as trial as they wait for the breakthrough of this business. It is written that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 (WEB) This is as true for Clement's faith and also for his son's business endeavor. They are struggling to make this successful as their family has placed their hope on the business. Although it is good to want the business to succeed, we are reminded in Psalm 146:3 (WEB): "Don't put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help." As well as Psalm 118:8 (WEB): "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man."
Clement's son, Calvin, has a responsibility to provide for his family, and to make sure that his business dealings align with scripture and God's laws. This is a godly and just command that is rebuked and corrected. There are many regulations and legal requirements regarding Hydroponics. Hydroponics are not an illegal activity, and hydroponics have been used to create fruits, vegetables, and other plants with both great success as well as failure. Be alert to sin and unlawfulness regarding what is produced and the business is engaged in. Just as God has requirements of conduct for personal lives, he does with our business activities. The bible clearly outlines ethical business practices. Hydroponics must be engaged in growing edibles and other plants that are lawful, holy, and obedient to the local, state, and federal laws and regulations and also abiding by biblical standards.
Let us pray.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up Clement and his family before Your throne of grace. We thank You for the gift of Jesus Christ and the power of His name, through which we can boldly approach You.
Father, we pray for Calvin and his business endeavor. We pray for Godly and lawful investors to intervene and that Calvin seeks God's guidance to operate his business in accordance to Your will. We rundedly rebuke any intention to engage in any unlawful, unethical, or immoral activity. We pray for the stability of the family's finances and thank you for a business of growing food for the hungry, as is commanded in scripture. In Jesus name we pray.
We trust in God's perfect will for Clement's family and believe that He will provide for their needs according to His riches in glory. May they continually put their hope in God, who is faithful to provide.
