We understand that you are seeking God's blessing for a good job and guidance towards it, as well as protection for your little one. Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that God answers prayers made in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: **"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."**
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for your love and faithfulness. We ask that you guide Anonymous in their job search. We have asked you for a better job. We ask this because we want to prosper on earth without leaving you. Lead them to a job where they can use their talents to serve you and others. We are asking for a job for you to bless them. Also, Lord Jesus we love our work because when we do what we are gifted with we are able to write a check to help others more. We have heard you say Help Me Help Others. We pray for the blessings so that we can in turn be an endless earthly blessing. Help them to trust in you and your timing, knowing that you have a good, pleasing, and perfect will for their life. We also lift up their little one to you, Lord. Protect and bless this child, and guide Anonymous as they raise them in your ways."
"But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
Furthermore, we encourage you, Anonymous, to continue trusting in God and His promises. Keep in mind 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB where we are reminded **"But if anyone doesn't provide for their own, and especially their own household, they have denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."** we are reminded **"For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat."** 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB We are commanded to provide for ourselves and our families. This requires us to work. Look for opportunities to serve God and others. We are reminded that **"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"** It is important to work to provide for your family while keeping in mind that we are serving Jesus in doing so. This serves two purposes. It shows God that you are being faithful with little and it shows others, the lost, the difference your God makes in your life. Believers must not be lazy or refuse to work for food for ourselves and our family. This goes against the principles outlined in the Bible. As believers we are to work and feed ourselves and our family, not expect others to provide for us. We are to be an example for the faith, not be idle or lazy.
Lastly, remember to always pray in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As **John 15:16 WEB "You didn't choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you."**
This is mentioned because your prayer had no mention of Jesus. Thus, we remind you to remember what Matthew 7:21-23 WEB **"Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.** Many will tell me in that day, Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy by your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works? **Then I will tell them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.**" We see it is only true believers that know Jesus and are obedient to Him. How can we know Him or ask of the Father in Jesus' name and not mention addressed to Him or reference to Jesus? We must believe and the faith can be taught.
We can be excited that God wants us to ask him for blessings. We are reminded that **"Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."** Mark 11:24 WEB. However, does this mean you can claim and have unlimited money? You can have everything you ask for? Well, what does the following verse say? **"Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions."** Mark 11:25 WEB. Jesus reminded that to ask we must believe and to ask and receive we must forgive. Even worse, consider if someone is praying for worldly rewards while living in unrepentant sin. They are not forgiven and are asking God to be a partner in their lusts. People who pray for things for their own gain will be disappointed. Pray for blessings for the betterment of yourself and your family while keeping in mind this a tool to bless others. Keep your heart right and pray in ways that bless God and His Kingdom. Jesus would ask us if we are praying for blessings or we are praying for the pride of life, the lust of eyes, and the lust of flesh.
