We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness to you and your family. It is wonderful to see your heart of gratitude and intercession for others. We stand with you in praying for God's peace, physical healing, and godly rest over your household. Let us remember the words of God in Exodus 33:14, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
We also intercede for those trapped in human trafficking, asking God to expose the perpetrators and bring them to justice. We pray for healing and protection over the victims, trusting in the Lord's promise in Psalm 146:7, "He executes justice for the oppressed; He gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners."
Regarding your prayer for trust in the Lord and wisdom in your family's finances, we encourage you to meditate on Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God and receive His blessings. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Let us also not forget that God is interested in our financial well-being and a trust in God also includes trust in his word to give to him a portion of his provision to us known as a tithe. This word comes from the Old Testament word where it is mentioned and translated into English as tithe. Furthermore, a reading of Proverbs 3:9 shows us "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase." The compile book of the bible also explains in Malachi 3:10, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this", says Yahweh of Armies, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough for." Therefore, let us not forget to trust God in his word concerning our finances by tithing to the local church. Furthermore, giving alms to the poor is necessary for the wealthy as found in Matthew 6:1 where Jesus says, "Be careful that you don't do your charitable giving before men, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven."
. Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. We thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask for Your peace, healing, and rest to cover their household. We pray for Your mighty hand to intervene in the lives of those trapped in human trafficking, exposing the traffickers and setting the captives free. We ask for Your wisdom and blessings in their finances, and that You would increase their trust in You. These things we pray in the precious name of Jesus Christ and for the advancement of godliness in the world.
Amen.
