is your trust in God. It's wonderful that you acknowledge God's will in your life and as believers of Jesus Christ we cling to the promises given to us in his word.
In John 14:13, WEB Jesus says,
"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
When we ask in Jesus' name, we are asking according to God's will. This is exactly what you are doing now. Keep the faith and trust that the Father hears your heart. God knows every detail of our lives and knows exactly what we need. In Matthew 6:8 WEB it says,
"Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him."
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ thanking you for your faithfulness and goodness in the life of Anonymous. We trust in your sovereignty over all things, in the lives of us and the life of the child of Anonymous as well. We ask that You guide Anonymous to the job that You have prepared for them, one that aligns with their skills and promotes good health, and that allows Anonymous and their child to live comfortably. We pray for Your mercy and grace to be upon them, and for Your will to be done in their lives. Give Anonymous peace and contentment as they wait on You and trust in Your perfect timing.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As you apply for jobs, remember Paul's teachings in 2 Thessalonians 3:10,
"As believers in Jesus Christ, we do not slack, as slackers do not eat. We work and toil hard and remember who we are working for. We are believers in Jesus not slackers. All things are to be done for the glory of Jesus Christ and we rest assured that it is Jesus Christ who is our provider. If we do our best to provide for ourselves and our family then it is Jesus Christ who has and will provide for us."
Remember that:
"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your whole might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." Ecclesiastes 9:10, WEB
We are reminded that:
"You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you." Psalm 128:2, WEB
