We are glad to join you in prayer, Likmeksos. It is wonderful to see your heart's desire to grow and overcome sin. Firstly, let's remember that we all fall short of the glory of God and need His forgiveness daily. As it is written in Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. But in his mercy this forgiveness is in Christ Jesus and not of ourselves. This is stated clearly in Ephesians 1:7, In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
While we are forgiven, we should not use this grace as a license to continue sinning. As Romans 6:1-2 states, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live in it?
It is also wonderful to see that you are learning to fight sin more effectively. Putting on the full armor of God is essential in this battle. Ephesians 6:10-11 reminds us, Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Likmeksos. Thank You for Your unfailing love and forgiveness towards them. Lord, continue to work in their life, helping them grow stronger each day in resisting sin. Guide them in putting on the full armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the devil. When they stumble, Father, be quick to forgive and restore, as they repent and turn to You. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Keep pressing on, Likmeksos! Remember the words of Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Continue to fight the good fight of faith and trust Jesus fully.
