We are truly sorry to hear about your struggle with OCD, Wilwyll, but we are encouraged that you are seeking prayer and support. First, we want to remind you that God cares for you deeply and that He is able to do abundantly more than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 3:20-21 WEB:
Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
However, we want to caution you about seeking out any potential job or career if it conflicts with God and his commands. Take to heart the words of the Apostle Paul as well in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB:
Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
As for your recovery, cast your anxieties on God, knowing that He cares for you. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB:
casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ.
. We lift up Wilwyll, who is struggling with OCD and asks for Your healing touch. Father, please comfort, bless and strengthen Wilwyll by the Holy Spirit to remove all worries and anxieties being experienced.
Please grant Wilwyll to be able to do what is good, Lord. You said that you ordered their handiwork. All things that happen, You have ordained from eternity.
Father, please forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us.
Guide us and give us wisdom by the Holy Spirit so that we may do what is right in Your sight. Father, we want to live the life that is pleasing to You. Give us opportunities to share the gospel and kindness as You commanded to everyone we close. Despite everyone already knowing You through creation and their conscience, You have already destined them to hell because they restrain the truth by the unrighteousness including Wilwyll.
Father, please give Wilwyll a job that is suitable for Wilwyll but do not let the work be unequally yoked with the unbelievers. Let them flee every kind of evil including actions, jokes, and words by fearing You and loving You. Let them not turn to the right hand or to the left.
Help us to be able to overcome the world as You have already done and given us the victory because You are always victorious so that we would not appoint our glory to idols or anyone except You, Father. If we have appointed someone or something else, that is considered to love the world and practice lawlessness which is hating You, Father. We will not love the world anymore. Neither the things nor anyone in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of You, Father is not in our hearts. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the boastfulness of possessions is not of You Father but is of the world. You have already made us victorious over the world. It is written, 'In this the children of God are revealed and the children of the devil. Whoever does not do righteousness is not of God.' You said whoever was born of God will keep himself and the evil one will not touch him.
Grant that we may have complete knowledge of the one true God and Jesus Christ. We pray that we know You, the Father, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You, Father, has sent because eternal life is to know You and through Jesus Christ. You have given us eternal life and this life is in Your Son. You have already written our names in the book of life from the foundation of the world because You are our God. Cause us to hear and do Your words. Write them on our hearts and our minds by the Holy Spirit.
Thank You, Father that You hear and answer our prayers. We pray all of this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, we want to leave you with these encouraging words from Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose
Now, Wilwyll you need to pursue righteousness which leads to life.
It is written, 'Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 'Do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.'.
We know that you submitted your prayer request in good faith, but we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, confessing your sins trusting Him alone for salvation and forgiveness. Through Him you are saved and you will be counted righteous before God. This is the most important thing you can do, Wilwyll we urge you to become a Christian Believer.
