We join you in lifting up your family and the pressing needs that you have brought before the Lord. Let us pray together.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your boundless goodness towards us and our families. We ask for Your peace to reign in our households and for physical healing and godly rest to be upon us this night and always. We stand on Your promise in Psalm 4:8, 'I will lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety.'
Lord, we also intercede for those trapped in the evil of human trafficking. We ask that You expose the perpetrators and bring them to justice. We pray for Your healing and protection over the victims, that You would draw near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit, as it says in Psalm 34:18.
Father, we ask for Your help in growing our trust in You. We know that without faith it is impossible to please You, and that those who come to You must believe that You exist and that You reward those who earnestly seek You (Hebrews 11:6). Strengthen our faith and help us to trust in You with all our hearts, and not to lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
We also bring before You our family finances. We ask for Your wisdom and blessings in this area, knowing that You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
In all these things, Lord, we pray that You would be glorified. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Anonymous, we appreciate your heart for the victims of human trafficking and your desire to grow in trust in the Lord. Remember, it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, as it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13). Continue to press into Him, seeking His face, and trust that He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Stay strong in your faith and in your prayers, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16).
