We are with you in spirit, dear sibling in Christ, and we lift up your family and your struggles to the Lord. Let us come before His throne of grace with confidence, knowing that He hears and answers our prayers.
Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in your time of need. It is only through His strength and wisdom that we can overcome the challenges of this world. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray for your children. For your youngest, we ask God to instill a desire for learning and wisdom. We rebuke the spirit of idleness and pray for a spirit of diligence instead, that she may apply herself to her studies. Remind her of Colossians 3:23 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." For your eldest, we pray for contentment and understanding. May they learn the value of stewardship and the dangers of loving money, as warned in 1 Timothy 6:10 (WEB), "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
We also lift up your finances to the Lord. Remember that God is your provider, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. As it is promised in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust in Him, and He will see you through this tight situation.
Lastly, we pray for your emotional well-being. The enemy seeks to isolate and discourage you, but we rebuke that spirit of depression. You are not alone, for God is always with you. As the Psalmist declares in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Cast your burdens upon Him, and He will sustain you.
In your prayer, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We encourage you to pray in His name, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is taught in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we urge you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.
We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will intervene in your family and bring peace, understanding, and provision. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will see you through.
