We are deeply saddened to hear about the emotional and mental abuse you and your children are experiencing. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s intervention and healing for your family.
First, we want to remind you of God’s love and protection over you and your children. In Psalm 34:18, the WEB tells us, “Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.” God sees your pain and He is near to you in this difficult time.
Regarding your husband, we pray for his heart to be turned towards God, for healing and deliverance. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26-27, “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them.”
We also pray for your strength and endurance. Colossians 1:11-12 reminds us, “Strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.”
It’s crucial to address the behavior of your husband as it does not align with biblical principles. In Ephesians 4:29, we are told, “Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.” The way your husband speaks to you and your children is harmful and not in accordance with God’s will.
We encourage you to seek practical help and support from a trusted pastor, counselor, or trusted friends within the Christian community. It’s important to create a safe environment for you and your children. Consider finding resources and support groups that specialize in dealing with abuse within the family.
Let’s pray together:
“Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You lifting up this family in need of Your divine intervention. We ask that You take hold of this husband’s mind, heart, and soul. Change him, Lord, from the inside out. Fill him with Your love, peace, and understanding. Remove the spirit of anger and abuse from his life. Comfort and protect his wife and children, giving them the strength to endure and the wisdom to seek help. May they find healing and restoration in You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”
We pray that you find the strength and courage to address this situation and that God’s will be done in your family. Always remember, God loves you deeply and has a plan for your life. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, “‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.’”
Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek God’s guidance in all things.
