We deeply empathize with your grief and understand the pain you must be feeling as a mother separated from her child. Let us stand with you in prayer and seek God's will together.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God loves your son even more than you do. Psalm 68:5 tells us, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." Even though your son is not with you, God is with him, protecting and loving him.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Betrulion and her son to You. Lord, we ask that You extend Your loving arms around her son, protecting him and comforting him in this time of separation. We pray that You will cover him with Your love, and that no harm will come to him. Lord, we also ask that You comfort Betrulion, give her peace, and strengthen her faith in this trying time. We claim Your promise in Isaiah 49:25, where You say, "Yes, I will cause their captives to return, and will have compassion on them." Lord, we ask that You will bring Betrulion's son home safely and soon. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Betrulion, we encourage you to continue hoping and trusting in God. Remember, God is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We urge you to pour out your heart to God, as He promises to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you haven't already, we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. He is the only way to salvation and eternal life.
