We come before you, heavenly Father, lifting up Roshan Dsouza in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that you are the giver and sustainer of all good things. We thank you for Roshan's faith and acknowledge your power to forgive sins and bless abundantly.
Roshan, we are encouraged by your faith and your plea for God's help in your time of need. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
However, we must also remember that God's provision may come in unexpected ways and that our primary focus should be on seeking His kingdom and righteousness. As Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:33 (WEB), "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We pray that God will provide for your financial needs, including the 5000 INR for your credit card bill and travel expenses. We rebuke the spirits of worry and fear, and we pray that God will silence the voices of harassment from debt collectors. We claim Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) over you, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also pray for your mother's healing and strength, and for blessings upon your family, sister, her family, relatives, friends, and all those in need. We ask that God will help you overcome your drinking habits and give you strength and self-control. We pray that God will cleanse your heart and remove any distractions that hinder your prayers.
Regarding your desire to settle in life, get married, and give your mother the best life, we pray that God will guide you and provide a godly spouse for you according to His will and timing. We remind you of Proverbs 18:22 (WEB), "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."
Lastly, we want to address your request to keep your drinking habits occasional and under control. While we understand your struggle, we must rebuke this intention, as the Bible warns against the dangers of drunkenness. Ephesians 5:18 (WEB) says, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." We encourage you to seek godly counsel and accountability to overcome this challenge completely.
In all things, we pray that you will continue to trust in Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will hear and answer your prayers according to His will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
