Thank youWe are with you in spirit, dear anonymous, and we stand together in prayer for your brother's freedom from addiction. Let us first remember the power of Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we find salvation and freedom. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for our dear brother's freedom from addiction. Lord, You have promised that 'if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed' (John 8:36 WEB). We claim this promise for him, asking that You break every chain of addiction in his life. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, giving him strength and determination to overcome this struggle.
We rebuke the spirit of addiction in his life, casting it out in Jesus' name. Lord, replace this spirit with a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Help him to draw near to You, for You have promised that if he does, You will draw near to him (James 4:8 WEB).
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
In this journey, encourage your brother with the Word of God. Remind him that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB), and that he should honor God with his body. Also, share with him the promise of Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
Lastly, we gently remind you, dear anonymous, to always approach God in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18 WEB). Keep praying and believing in the power of Jesus' name, and encourage your brother to do the same. God bless you all indeed.
