We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness to you and your family. It is a beautiful thing to see your heart filled with gratitude and your mind turned towards the needs of others, as well as your own family.
Firstly, let's pray together for your household:
"Father, we come before You, lifting up this family. We claim Your peace over their household, as You've promised in John 14:27, 'Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.' We ask for physical healing and godly rest for them tonight, knowing that 'in vain you wake up early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to those he loves' (Psalm 127:2)."
Next, we commend you for your heart for those in bondage. Let's pray:
"Lord, we ask that You 'defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked' (Psalm 82:3-4). Expose those involved in human trafficking, Lord, and bring them to justice. Heal and protect those in physical bondage."
Regarding your desire to grow in trust, we encourage you to meditate on Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." As you seek Him, He will grant you wisdom and blessings, including financial ones, as He promises in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We believe that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it's written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let's ensure we always pray in His name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
In Jesus' name, we pray for these things together with you. Amen.
