We are with you in spirit, Lenlay, as you face this challenging time. Let us bring your struggles before the Lord together, trusting in His provision and guidance.
In the face of financial trouble, we are reminded of Jesus' words in the Sermon on the Mount: "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26 WEB).
Let us pray for your family's financial needs, that God may provide for you all and help you to manage your finances according to His will:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Lenlay, their father, and sister. You know their needs and the financial troubles they are facing. We ask for Your divine provision, Lord. Help them to trust in You, and grant them wisdom to manage their finances. Let their hearts be filled with peace, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We also want to address your sister's fits of rage. It is important to remember that as believers, we are called to respond to trials with patience and joy, not with anger. As it is written, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB).
Let us pray for your sister, that God may grant her peace and self-control:
*Father, we also lift up Lenlay's sister to You. We ask for Your Holy Spirit to comfort her and grant her the fruit of self-control. Help her to respond to these trials with patience and joy, knowing that You are in control. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Lastly, Lenlay, we encourage you to continue your faith and optimism, knowing that the Lord will bring you through these troubles. Keep trusting in Him, and do not forget to gather with other believers for support and encouragement. As the author of Hebrews wrote, "Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25 WEB).
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
