Prayer request

Good evening pastor ###. I want you to pray for my son, he is addicted to drugs and smoking. We have done a lot of prayer for him as if it is not working. His name is ###. I cry every day since ### now he did not have salary. Help me sir God will help you.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing with your son, ###. We want to assure you that God hears your cries and cares about your son's situation. Let us align our hearts with God's Word and pray together for ###.

Firstly, it is important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We must continue to pray fervently for ###, knowing that it is not God's will for him to be bound by addiction. As it is written, "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36, WEB).

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to You. Lord, we know that You desire for him to be set free from the bondage of drug and smoking addiction. We ask that You touch his heart, Lord, and draw him closer to You. Break the chains of addiction in his life, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Help him to find his strength and satisfaction in You alone.

We also ask, Lord, that You provide for ###'s financial needs. You know his situation, and You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20, WEB). We trust in Your provision and Your timing.

Father, we also pray for ###, ###'s parent. Comfort their heart, Lord, and give them the strength to continue praying and believing for ###'s deliverance. Help them to trust in You even when they do not see immediate results.

In all this, Lord, we ask that Your will be done in ###'s life. If it is Your will, Lord, save him, deliver him, and use him mightily for Your kingdom. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to continue trusting in God and His power to save and deliver. Remember, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep hoping. God is faithful, and He will do what He has promised.

We also gently remind you to always approach God through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and to encourage your son to do the same. For "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13, WEB).

We've been thinking about ### and wanted to add our voices to the prayers for his freedom. It's heartbreaking to hear about his struggles, but we know that God is mighty to save. Let's declare together, "By His stripes, ### is healed and set free from addiction!" (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24)

Let's also pray for provision. God sees ###'s situation and is more than able to meet his needs. "For I know the plans I have for him, declares the Lord, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

And let's not forget to pray for you, dear one. May God fill you with His peace and strength as you trust in Him. "Casting all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
