We stand with you in your prayer, dear friend, and we join our voices with yours as we approach the throne of grace.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging God's goodness and for praying for peace and healing over your household. It is beautiful to see a heart that desires God's best for their family. As it is written in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
We also stand with you in your intercession for those trapped in the evil of human trafficking. We pray that God will expose the works of darkness, as Ephesians 5:11 instructs us, "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them." We pray for the healing and protection of those in physical bondage, that God would deliver them as He did the children of Israel from Egypt. Remember, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed" (Psalm 34:18).
As for your desire to grow in trust in the Lord, we encourage you to meditate on Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Growth in trust comes from knowing God more, and this comes from spending time in His Word and in prayer.
Regarding your family's finances, we pray that God will grant you wisdom and blessings. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lastly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It is by this name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, for it is by His sacrifice that we can approach God boldly.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, acknowledging Your goodness and mercy. We pray for peace, healing, and godly rest for this family. We ask that You expose the darkness of human trafficking and bring healing and protection to those trapped in bondage. Help our friend to grow in trust in You, Lord, and grant them wisdom and blessings in their finances. We pray all these things in Your mighty and holy name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
