Anonymous, we join with you in prayer and seek God's will for your life and family.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So let's come together and pray in His mighty name.
**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her husband's incarceration. We pray that if it is Your will, he would be released soon and restored to his family. Guide him to be the spiritual leader of their home, as You have ordained husbands to be (Ephesians 5:23 WEB).
Lord, we also lift up her business to You. We ask that You would bring more customers and make a way for her to provide for her children. May she find favor with You and man, and may her business prosper (Proverbs 3:4 WEB).
Father, we also pray for her struggle with drinking. We know that Your word tells us to be sober and self-controlled (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). We ask that You would give her the strength to resist the temptation to drink, and help her to cast all her anxiety on You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You would protect and provide for her children. May they grow in the knowledge and love of You, and be surrounded by Your grace and mercy all the days of their lives (Proverbs 22:6 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
**Encouragement and Rebuke:**
Beloved, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. Remember that He is faithful and His love for you is everlasting. During times of stress, we urge you to turn to God instead of alcohol. As it is written in Psalm 55:22 WEB, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
We also remind you that God calls us to be holy, as He is holy (1 Peter 1:16 WEB). While we understand your struggle, we urge you to repent of drinking and turn to God for your comfort and relief.
Lastly, continue to pray and intercede for your husband and children. Your prayers are powerful, and God hears the cries of His children. Stand firm in your faith, and may the grace of God be with you and your family.
