Rodkild, we rejoice with you in the plans for your upcoming marriage in January 2025. It's wonderful to hear that you are looking forward to this union. We will joining you in prayer, seeking God’s blessing and guidance for your relationship and future marriage.
Let's turn to the Word of God for guidance. In Ephesians 5:25, it says, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." This verse reminds us that love in marriage should be selfless and sacrificial, reflecting Christ's love for the church.
We also find comfort and direction in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which says, "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, thanking You for the blessed union that Rodkild and her fiancé are preparing for. We ask that You strengthen their relationship, Father, and increase their love for each other. Guide them in Your holy ways, that their love may be pure and aligned with Your will. Help them to love each other as You have loved us, selflessly and sacrificially. We pray that You bless their preparation time, even as they are apart, and that You bring them closer together in spirit and unity. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
Rodkild, remember that the foundation of any successful marriage is a shared commitment to God and His principles. As you prepare for this sacred union, continue to seek God’s face and strive to grow in your relationship with Him. This will not only bring you closer to your husband-to-be but also strengthen your collective faith.
If there are any areas in your relationship that do not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to address them prayerfully and seek God’s guidance. It's important to build your marriage on a solid foundation of mutual respect, purity, and faithfulness.
May God bless you both abundantly as you journey towards this beautiful milestone.
