We are with you in spirit, Lythinn, and we lift up your requests to our Heavenly Father.
Firstly, we pray for your mother's healing. We claim God's promises for her, as it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray that God's healing power will restore her from the stroke and all other health issues.
We join you in praying for your brother to find a godly wife. We ask God to prepare a woman who loves the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart, soul, and mind, as commanded in Matthew 22:37 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’" We pray that they will build a marriage that honors God and is a testimony to His love.
We also pray for you, Lythinn, that God will bring a missionary-minded husband into your life. We ask that he will be a man after God's own heart, committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as commanded in Mark 16:15 (WEB), "He said to them, 'Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.'"
We pray for both you and your brother to receive the Holy Spirit, as promised in Luke 11:13 (WEB), "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?" We pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you, comfort you, and empower you to live lives that glorify God.
We also pray that God will give you both a hunger and thirst for His Word. As it is written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (WEB), "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Finally, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we can approach God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Lythinn, her mother, and her brother. We ask for Your healing, Your guidance, and Your blessing upon their lives. We ask that You will bring godly spouses into their lives, that they may glorify You in their marriages. We pray that You will fill them with Your Holy Spirit and give them a hunger for Your Word. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
