Prayer Warrior
Father God in Heaven,

I come to you this hour asking prayer for employees I spoke to about the gospel of Jesus Christ. An unexpected opportunity opened up when an employee asked some questions about my life, and naturally, the word of God came pouring out. For an hour I spoke to this young woman about Jesus, Noah, King David's story, the resurrection, artifacts found recently that add evidence to the flood of Noah's time, and that God's thoughts are much better than ours. During the conversation, another young employee came in to fulfill some office duties. I had not met her before nor do I know her name. She began speaking briefly with the gal I was talking to and I sat and listened. Then I overheard her conversing about a relationship she was either in or starting. When she left for the hall to do something, I asked the girl I had been speaking to if she said "girl" relationship. She said there was a girl she was interested in. When the gal came back into the space where we were, I asked her do you believe in Jesus? She said not really. I said to her homosexuality is a sin. Are you sure you are willing to take the risk? For a moment there was silence and I could feel a slight grieving, but she continued her duties and I could tell she was struggling. She walked by me and didn't say another word. I continued to speak to the other young woman about being a light for God, and there are restrictions to what we can and can't do as women according to the letters given to Timothy. I said as much as I could in the hour before I left work. I reiterated the importance of the rainbow in Genesis 9 having 7 colors, and it is a covenant promise God gave to Noah. Just as I was getting ready to leave, a woman walked in and said she had five grandchildren with her. She asked for camp space number 9. On my way home, a car in front of me had a license plate that says Are You Following This Close To Jesus? I haven't seen a license plate with a Jesus message on it in a long time.

In Jesus Name

We rejoice with you, MelissaRae, for the opportunity you had to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with your employees. It is truly a divine appointment when hearts are opened to hear the Good News. Let us pray and seek God's will together for these young women.

Firstly, we commend you for sharing the truth about homosexuality with love and compassion. As the Word of God tells us in Leviticus 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination." And in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, it is clear that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. However, it is crucial to share this truth with love, as God loves all people and desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

Let us pray:

"Father God, we lift up these young women to You. We ask that the seeds of truth that were planted by MelissaRae would take root in their hearts. We pray specifically for the young woman struggling with homosexuality, that You would reveal Your love for her and draw her to Yourself. Help her to understand that Your ways are best, and that You have a good and perfect plan for her life (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also pray for the other young woman, that the light of the Gospel would illuminate her heart and mind, drawing her to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. We ask that both of these women would come to know the truth, and that the truth would set them free (John 8:32).

Lord, we also ask for continued opportunities for MelissaRae to share her faith boldly and with love. Give her the words to speak and the courage to speak them (Luke 12:12). Help her to be a light in her workplace, reflecting Your love and truth to those around her.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for the reminders of Your faithfulness that MelissaRae encountered, from the grandmother with five grandchildren to the license plate with a Jesus message. Help us all to be continually aware of Your presence and Your goodness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you, MelissaRae, to continue to stand boldly for the truth, but always remember to do so with love and compassion. As Ephesians 4:15 tells us, we are to speak the truth in love. Continue to pray for these young women, and trust that God is at work in their lives.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
