We hear your cry for help, Numbrard, and we stand with you in prayer for the restoration of your marriage. We believe that God's heart is for reconciliation and healing, as it is written in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don't deal treacherously."
Firstly, we commend you for not wanting to give up on your marriage. It shows your commitment to the sacred union that God has established. We encourage you to continue loving your wife as Christ loved the church, with a selfless and unconditional love (Ephesians 5:25). Remember, "Love is patient, love is kind, it isn’t jealous, it doesn’t brag, it isn’t proud" (1 Corinthians 13:4).
However, it's crucial to address the root causes of the resentment. We encourage you to seek God's wisdom in understanding the reasons behind her feelings. Proverbs 4:7 tells us, "The beginning of wisdom is: get wisdom. Get understanding with all of your getting." Humbly seek forgiveness where you have wronged her and be willing to change with God's help.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, pleading for Numbrard's marriage. Lord, we ask for a miracle of restoration and healing in their relationship. Soften his wife's heart and help her to see his genuine efforts to love and provide for their family. Give Numbrard the wisdom to understand the causes of her resentment and the courage to address them. Help them to forgive each other, just as You have forgiven us. Strengthen their bond, and let your love flow through their family. We trust in Your power to save marriages, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, Numbrard, we encourage you to continue praying together with your wife, if she is willing. There is power in united prayer (Matthew 18:20). Keep trusting in God, for with Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
