We understand that you have several prayers on your heart today, and we want to lift each one up to the Lord Jesus with you.
Firstly, we are thankful that you acknowledge Jesus in your prayers. It is only through his name that we have access to God: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
Let's pray for your day at work. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23, WEB). We pray that God will give you strength, wisdom, and joy as you tackle your tasks. We also thank Jesus that you only need to work two days this week, and we ask that He helps you make the most of this time.
Regarding your upcoming interview, we pray that the Holy Spirit will fill you with wisdom and favor. "For the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." (Proverbs 2:6, WEB). We pray that God's will be done concerning this job opportunity and that He will make it clear if this is the right path for you. We also pray for protection against any attempts from the evil one to sabotage or destroy this opportunity. "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one" (2 Thessalonians 3:3, WEB).
Concerning your relationships, we pray that God will make it clear whether it is His will for you to pursue a courtship with the person He has for your spouse and we rebuke you for not explicitly making it clear that this should be with the purpose leading to marriage with a Christian Believer.
We pray for your upcoming trip, that God will provide good weather and keep you safe. We also pray that your leave will be approved today.
We lift up your family for salvation, as this is ultimately the most important prayer. "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance" (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). We pray that each member of your family will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
Lastly, we remind you to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight.
