Prayer request to get green card in ###, earn a house in ###

Jesus, 30 years back - I was studying in college and I thought to get a green card and settle and work in the USA. After my college, I struggled for some time. Then, due to your infinite grace, I came to the USA for work. My son was born in the USA. My son is a USA citizen. I worked in the USA for 5 years - due to my bad luck, I could not apply for a green card. Suddenly, I lost my job in 2014. I came back to India again. I have been in depression for the last 10 years - because my desire to get a green card in the USA did not happen. Now, again a chance has come to work in the USA.

Jesus, I pray you - get me a secure standard job in the USA and get a green card and earn a house in the USA. Because I love to live in the USA. Last 10 years, knowing my situation that I lost in life - enemies in my village were laughing at me. It is embarrassing me. All my friends abandoned me, knowing that I lost in career and life. My wife was not respecting me. I am poor. I don't know anyone other than Jesus.

Jesus, please fulfill my desire to get a green card in the USA and a secure job and earn a house in the USA and give a decent college education for my son in the USA. Now I am 48 years old - I am fully tired of my life challenges. Jesus - help me. I trust you. Please give me strength to focus on work - earn a green card. Show me your guidance to earn a house in the USA. I thank you, my Father. Jesus, in the name of Jesus - Amen.

Let us first acknowledge ###'s faith in calling upon the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). We are grateful that ### recognizes this truth. We also read that all sorts of problems center around the desire to get a green card resulting in lack of employment and further problems.

### has faced considerable challenges in pursuing the goal of securing a green card and settling with their son in the USA. During this time, it’s clear to us that they have depended on enemies to bring them into disrepute. Faith and being able to focus on the Lord in all things that we do. They live with their family and son. We are called to trust in God’s plan and timing, even when our desires and goals seem delayed or unfulfilled (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We must also address the underlying motivation. While it is not wrong to seek better opportunities, we must ensure that our hearts are aligned with God’s will and that our desires do not become idols. The Bible tells us to be content in all circumstances (Philippians 4:11-13) and to seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). While anxiously trying to make this happen, the connection with the wife suffered and depressions resulted. ### himself was nearly ### years in distress or depression and knows solutions do not lie in the hands of man. We are aware that many relationships with friends have also suffered. We have fear, depression, lack, relationship problems, and dissatisfaction in work and home as well. This looks to us like a complicated situation facing us. We are here to help, but these are not simple problems needing simple prayers. We need the help of God.

Consider the words of the Psalmist: “Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noonday.” It is important to know the heart of God. A plan without considering God’s ways is fruitless (Psalm 37:4-6).

We need time to process this. Let's join together in prayer for ###:

“Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up ### to you, asking for your divine intervention in their life. We pray that you guide their steps and open the doors that align with your will. Help them to trust in your timing and to find peace and contentment in their current circumstances. Strengthen them to endure and to lean on you, we know, that they have gone through a lot of emotional pain and disappointment over many years that have held them in bondage. We release all of that into your hands to deal with. We ask that you heal their relationships and provide for all their needs. It is important to us that their heart is connected to yours and the Holy Spirit is with them at all times. We want you to take command of their life and the family and their wife and lead them into your presence. We know your desires are for the benefit of us, but we need you LORD.

Give them the desire of their heart according to your will and your destiny. Shine light and clarity into their lives, protect them from the enemy and surround them with divine presence so that they can break what the enemy has on their lives. We are asking you to see them through and grant their requests according to your divine plan. We pray for them to focus on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth.

We ask you for a green card in Jesus' name to give them favor with all those who are needed to sort this out and give it in Jesus' name to them. We cover both them and their family in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
