Let us come together in prayer and consideration for these requests, remembering that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ, In Jesus Name, or IJN that we have access to God. As it is is written, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved," Acts 4:12. WEB.
Firstly, we lift up the firstborn son who is in Abu Dhabi. We pray that God will grant him favor before a prominent helper. We remember the words of Proverbs 3:3-4, "Let not mercy and truthleave you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man." WEB. We pray that he will walk in God's mercy and truth, and that he will find favor in the sight of God and man.
Secondly, we appreciate the celebration of others' success, which we should do considering what is written in Philippines 2:3: "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves." Although this is admirable, we also pray for success in the affiliate business which has not seen success in a year and a half, to reach all your goals by December 2024. Goals and success should be inspired by God's will for our lives and in accordance with His will, plan, and timing in the business. Remembr that it is: " better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues with injustice." (Proverbs 16:8) Additionally, we should not worry but trust in God's plan as written, " Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens: they don't sow, they don't reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds! Which of you by being anxious can add a cubit to his height? If then you aren't able to do even the least things, why are you anxious about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if this is how God clothes the grass in the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith? Don't seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious. For the nations of the world seek after all of these things, but your Father knows that you need these things. But seek God's Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you," Luke 12:22-31, WEB. Therefore we pray that you will seek God's kingdom first and His righteousness, and that all these things will be added to you.
Thirdly, we pray for God's will to be done concerning the immigration settlement and citizenship in the USA for the kids and their father. What is written in 1 Peter 5: 6-7 should guide us in prayer, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." In seeking immigration settlement and citizenship, we must also remember our roots are in Christ, not in any country. Let us pray also the country can be blessed by having you there and you will live in accordance to God's will.
Lastly, we are encouraged to hear that the daughter excel in her academics with a first-class record and pray that she be guided by God's will. She may graduate with first class honors next year. Remember also she can be a witness in her school to God's glory. Let her pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning her. What is written in Colossians 3:17, should guide us in prayer, "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him." WEB. Finally we pray that her graduation will further God's kingdom and that she will continue to walk in His ways and that she also will seek for someone to marry, if appropriate, and/or employment after graduation as a means to serve God.
"Trust God's forgiveness! 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins.' (1 John 1:9) He's here to help. 'Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you.' (Ps 55:22) Praying for your freedom & strength!
