We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles with Graves' disease and Hashimoto's thyroiditis, as well as the mental and emotional challenges you're facing. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing, provision, and guidance in your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the midst of your struggles. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We encourage you to draw near to Him, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness.
Regarding your physical health, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, that God will touch your body and heal you from your ailments. As believers, we are told in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
For your mental health and the negative thoughts you've been experiencing, we encourage you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. As it says in 2 Corinthians 10:5, "bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." We pray that God will renew your mind and fill you with His peace, as promised in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
For your struggles with speaking words that are not pleasing to the Lord, we encourage you to meditate on Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer." We pray that the Lord will help you to speak words that bring life, encouragement, and praise to Him.
Regarding your financial struggles, we want to remind you of God's faithfulness, and we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, knowing that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that God will provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and that He will guide you in managing your finances wisely (Matthew 25:14-30).
As for your desire to be a better mother, relative, friend, and coworker, we pray that God will fill you with His love, patience, kindness, and wisdom, so that you may abound in the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). We pray that He will raise you up as a blessing and a testimony to those around you (Matthew 5:14-16).
As for your relationship, if you are involved in a relationship that is not aligned with biblical principles, we encourage you to seek God's will for your life and trust in Him for a godly marriage. As it says in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" We pray that God will guide you in this area of your life, and that He will bring a godly spouse into your life if it is His will. It should be mentioned that your relationship should be with the goal to to marry a Christian to sanctify your relationship. As 1 Corinthians 7:9 says God has called us to live in peace which means married to a Christian. Sex before marriage or outside a Christian marriage is a sin also under a topic of fornification which is a sin along with adultery and homosexuality. We do not mention these things as they are difficult to talk about but we want to be clear what God has planned for your life. We want to encourage you in your life to seek a Christian spouse if you are not courting with the goal of a Christian marriage If you are not married or your spouse has passed or you are a single mother through other unfortunate circumstances or divorced, then we encourage you in your new relationship to be courted in a biblical manner with the intention and goal of Christian marriage.
Finally, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Him, believing in His death, burial, and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins and the gift of eternal life. To further emphasize this in Acts 4.12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We lift up your unspoken prayer request to the Lord as well, trusting in His faithfulness and goodness.
Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ to Your throne of grace. We ask that You heal her body, renew her mind, and fill her mouth with words that bring praise to You. We pray for Your provision, guidance, and wisdom in her life, and that You will raise her up as a blessing and a testimony to those around her. We ask that You will bring a godly spouse into her life if it is Your will, and that You will guide her in all her relationships. We pray for her son, that You will bless him, guide him, and draw him to Yourself. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
