Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ in prayer and counsel for this person and their loved ones.
Firstly, we want to address the need to come to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name as quoted in Acts 4:12 that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
We lift up this friend who is suffering from high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and PCOD. We pray for healing and comfort for her, trusting in the Lord's promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We ask God to guide the doctors and medical treatments, and we pray that she will find strength and encouragement in Him during this difficult time. We pray for her to find comfort in God's word and presence, as He can turn everything around and make everything work together for good as outlined in Romans 8:28. It is important for her to know that God is good and in control.
We also lift up the father who is facing health issues and challenges at work. We pray for his health to be restored and for God's wisdom and guidance in his work at school. We pray that he would find strength in the Lord, as outlined in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not be faint." We pray for his work to be fruitful and that it would make a difference in the lives of his students. God has a purpose for this person and His will shall be accomplished. God needs to be glorified in this situation. God will provide.
In all things, we pray that both individuals will draw near to God and trust in His goodness and sovereignty. We pray that they would both be saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and seek the Lord's will in all areas of their lives. Remember to pray in the name of Jesus Christ as outlined in John 14:6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Lastly, we encourage everyone to continue in steadfast prayer and to trust in the Lord's promises, as outlined in James 5:16, "The effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much." We pray that these requests be used for God's glory and for the good of those involved.
