Thank you for your prayer request from ###, ###. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in your lives.
Firstly, we appreciate that you have prayed in the name of Jesus. It is only by the Holy name of Jesus that we have access to God. Let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, as a group of believers and pray together.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names. We lift up these individuals from ###, ###, to You, Lord. We pray that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit on them, filling them completely—spirit, soul, and body. Fill them with Your presence, Your gifts, and Your power.
Father, we also pray for the city of ### and the nation of ###. We pray that You would bring peace, righteousness, and prosperity to this land. May Your will be done in ### as it is in heaven.
Lord, we ask that You would bring salvation to the lost in ###. Draw them to Jesus Christ, that they would believe in Him and be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As Your Word says in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, whereby we must be saved!"
Father, we also pray for the believers in ###. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Spirit. Give them boldness to witness for Christ and to live holy lives. May they be lights in the darkness, pointing others to Jesus.
In all things, Lord, we pray for Your will to be done. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Ephesians 3:16-21 WEB:
"that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."
