We are truly heartbroken to hear about this lady's experiences, but we are glad she has reached out for prayer. Firstly, we need to address some critical issues in this request. The uncle's actions are grave sins and crimes. What he did is abominable and against God's laws. In Leviticus 18:6 WEB, it is written, "None of you shall approach anyone who is a close relative to have sexual relations. I am Yahweh." Furthermore, his involvement in any form of sorcery or witchcraft as a "medicine man" is detestable to God (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB).
Moreover, we want to highlight that the path to salvation and healing is through Jesus Christ alone. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray for this lady:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear lady who has gone through immense pain and suffering. Father, we pray that You will heal her from the trauma and wounds of her past. Help her to forgive those who have sinned against her, as Your word tells us in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
Lord, we pray for complete deliverance from any bondage of the enemy, including her struggle with alcohol addiction. We speak healing and restoration over her life in Jesus' name. Surround her with Your love and give her strength to overcome these challenges.
We also pray for her children, Father. Protect them and guide them in Your truth. Break any generational curses and strongholds in their lives, and help them to grow into godly individuals who fear and love You.
Lord, we ask that You will bring God-fearing people into her life to support and encourage her. If it is Your will, provide her with a godly spouse who will love and cherish her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25 WEB).
Finally, Father, we pray that she will come to know You personally through a saving relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lead her to repentance and faith in Him, that she may experience Your grace, mercy, and eternal salvation.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage this lady to seek help from local Christian resources to support her in her healing journey, both from the trauma and the addiction. God is faithful, and He will be with her every step of the way (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).
