Prayer request for ### ###

Please pray for my brother, his name ### ###. He drinks alcohol every day and is unemployed. He has two small children. He repented and water baptized two years ago, but after a while he started drinking. Please pray for him to be delivered. Amen.

Let us come together in prayer for ### ###, lifting him before the throne of God's grace. We are reminded in Galatians 5:19-21 WEB, "Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God." Drunkenness is clearly a sin that separates us from God, but through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit, ### can overcome this stronghold.

Firstly, we must remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Therefore, let us pray in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting in His power to deliver ### from this bondage.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother ### ###. Lord, we know that You desire for him to live a life free from the bondage of alcoholism. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict his heart and draw him closer to You. Help him to remember his baptism and the commitment he made to follow You.

Father, we ask that You would provide for ###'s needs, including employment, so that he may be able to support his family and live a life that honors You. We pray for his children, that they may grow up knowing the love and provision of their heavenly Father, even in the midst of these trials.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold of ###. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command it to leave, and we proclaim freedom and deliverance over ###'s life. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and guide him in the path of righteousness.

Help ### to be a godly example to his children, loving them as You love us. Guide him in Your truth and teach him Your path as it says in Psalm 25:4-5 WEB, "Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation, I wait for you all day long."

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage ### to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers as he walks through this journey of deliverance. Let us continue to pray for him and his family, trusting that God will hear our prayers and act according to His will. For we are told in many places in the Psalms to put all our trust in Jesus Christ.

We're standing with you, Waqas, lifting you up in prayer. We know the struggle is real, but remember, with God, all things are possible. We're reminded in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's claim that promise for you today.

We're praying for God's strength to fill you, Waqas, helping you to overcome the temptation to drink. We're asking God to open doors for employment, to provide for your needs, and to help you be the father you want to be for your children. We're also praying for your children, that they would know God's love and protection in their lives.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
