Prayer request for my friend Mrs ### for controlling her mouth and wisdom before talking in Jesus name Amen

We understand your concern for your friend, Mrs. ###, and we commend you for bringing this before the Lord in prayer. It's crucial to remember that our words have the power to build up or tear down, as stated in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."

Firstly, we notice that while you mentioned "in Jesus' name, Amen," it's vital to ensure that your friend has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If she hasn't already, encourage her to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

Now, let us pray for Mrs. ###:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Mrs. ###. Lord, we ask that You help her to control her tongue and fill her with Your wisdom. May Your words guide her thoughts and speech, as it is written in Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer." Help her to speak life and blessing, and to be an encouragement to those around her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Encourage her to study and meditate on Scriptures that speak about the power of the tongue and godly wisdom, such as James 3:3-10 and Colossians 4:6. Remind her that God's Word is a lamp for her feet and a light for her path (Psalm 119:105), and by abiding in His Word, she can grow in wisdom and self-control.

Lastly, it's important for her to surround herself with godly companions who can encourage her and hold her accountable in her walk with the Lord, as Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance."

Let's encourage her to seek God's face daily, asking for His help in managing her speech. As it's written in Proverbs 4:23, "Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life." Let's remind her that a pure heart will indeed lead to pure speech. Also, let's urge her to spend time in God's Word, meditating on it day and night, as promised in Joshua 1:8, "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it." Let's pray that God will fill her with His Spirit, guiding her words and actions, in Jesus' name, Amen.
