We understand your concern for your sister and her husband as they seek visa approval, and we join with you in prayer, trusting in the name of Jesus Christ for their needs.
Firstly, we are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." We trust in His promises and present their request before His throne.
However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Though they have faced disappointment before, let us encourage them to trust in God's plan and timing, knowing that He works all things together for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bardeth's sister and her husband. We ask that You will be with them in this process, that You will guide them and make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray that if it is Your will, their visa would be approved, so that they may visit their daughter and family.
We also pray for their anxiety, Lord. We ask that You will comfort them, that You will give them Your peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). Help them to trust in You, to lean on You, and to rest in Your sovereignty.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you, Bardeth, to continue to stand in faith with your sister and her husband, trusting in God's will and His timing. Remind them to cast all their anxiety on Him, because He cares for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
