Prayer Request for ### Transplant!

My stepson ### just got the call for surgery for a long-awaited liver transplant. Dear Lord God Please watch over ### and all the medical team during his liver transplant. Give him the strength to think positive and stay strong and have faith everything will go well. Please allow his body to accept the donated liver. Watch over and help him in his recovery after the transplant. Help his mother have faith and help her deal with her worries and stress. Please pray that the surgery goes well and that he may recover successfully.

We join you, ###, in lifting up ### and this critical situation before our merciful God. In times like these, we trust in the Lord, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).

Firstly, we pray for ###'s liver transplant. We ask God to guide the hands of the medical team, granting them wisdom, skill, and steadiness throughout the procedure. We claim God's promise in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," and pray that ### remains strong and positive, holding firm to his faith.

We pray for acceptance of the donated liver, that ###'s body would receive it without complication. We stand on Psalm 139:14 (WEB), "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made," knowing that God's intricate design of our bodies allows for such a miracle.

For ###'s recovery, we pray for strength and healing, free from infection or setbacks. We trust in God's promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."

We also lift up ###'s mother, asking God to fill her with faith, peace, and comfort during this stressful time. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We noticed that Jesus' name was not mentioned in your prayer, ###. We want to remind you that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let's keep our focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in Jesus' precious name, trusting in His power and love. Amen.
