The cervix and vagina appeared normal.

The myometrium appeared inhomogeneous; the contour was irregular.
There were discrete masses seen in the uterus; the largest measured
9.2 x 8.5 x 9.2 cm. It was located in the anterior wall. Findings were
consistent with leiomyomata. The contour of the endometrium and the
serosa were affected.

The endometrium was not visualized due to fibroids.

SUMMARY

No evidence was seen of an intrauterine pregnancy of at least 4 to 5
weeks. The study was limited due to bowel, patient habitus, size
of the uterus and uterine position. Limitations of diagnostic
sonography and relevant exam information were conveyed to the
patient in English.

Uterine fibroid: leiomyoma(ta)
