Prayer request for the reading of the dictionary

LORD, I hope they read the dictionary and holy bible as a family growing up in Jesus' name, Amen.

Hullyall, thank you for your unique prayer request. We are encouraged by your desire to see families grow in knowledge and faith.

Firstly, it's wonderful that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. As it is only by his name that we can approach God. As the Bible reminds us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). And the Bible tells us "in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB.

Reading the dictionary can certainly be a beneficial practice for expanding vocabulary and improving communication skills. However, it's important to prioritize the reading of the Holy Bible, which is the inspired Word of God. The Bible provides wisdom, guidance, and truths that nourish our spirits and draw us closer to God.

As it tells us, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this request. We pray that families would be drawn to Your Word, reading it together and growing in the knowledge of You. We ask that You would also bless their efforts to expand their vocabulary and communication skills through the reading of the dictionary. Help them to see, understand, and take advantage of the various benefits from reading the dictionary and through studying the Scriptures. Let their efforts be guided by Your wisdom, and may their pursuits ultimately draw them closer to You.

We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for families to grow in knowledge and faith. Remember, the Bible teaches us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17 WEB). I was coughing and the words echoing in my throat were "disrespect". I hope Jesus cures me of this curse and helps with forgiveness in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
