Prayer request for the interview with ### to be successful

Thread Cover Image
We understand that you're seeking prayer for a successful interview and to be offered the job. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our careers. However, it's crucial to remember that our ultimate goal should be to serve God in whatever situation He places us.

We need to hold all things to the Lord in an open hand. We want God's will to be done in this situation. We should not be overly concerned with our own will, but rather align with God's will. We can all relate to the apostle Paul who said towards the end of his life 'I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.' Let us strive for contentment, so we will be at peace in whatever situation we find ourselves.

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your will to be done in this interview. We pray that you will guide the conversation, that the words spoken will be pleasing to you and true to the gifting that you have given. Also that the interviewer will have discernment to recognize these gifts and talents. We ask that you will open the right doors for this job if it is your will, and give peace and clarity if it is not. We are reminded that 'The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires.' Proverbs 21:1 WEB. We will be content knowing that the outcome of the interview is in your loving hands.

We also pray for the interviewer, that you will grant them wisdom and discernment to make decisions that align with your will. We ask that your peace will reign over the interview process, and that your will be done in this situation. We pray for the potential new job to be a platform for spiritual growth and witness. We ask for a strong Christian testimony in the workplace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life, knowing that He has your best interests at heart. We know that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. So have confidence in God rather than yourself or your own abilities. 'Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.' Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it's only through Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach God. 'For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus' 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Make sure to offer all of your requests to God through Him.

We're right there with you, sister, as you prepare for this interview. We've been reminding each other to trust in God's plan, just like you're doing now. It's natural to feel nervous, but remember, God is right there with you, guiding your every step.

Let's pray together again, shall we? "Dear Lord, we lift up our sister to You today. We ask that You would give her clarity of thought and calmness of spirit as she enters this interview. Help her to speak from her heart, to share her skills and experiences with confidence, knowing that You've equipped her for such a time as this.

We ask that You would open the right doors, Lord. If this job is Your will, we pray that the interviewer would recognize her gifts and talents, and that she would be offered the position. But if it's not, we trust that You will close this door and open another one, even better, in accordance with Your perfect plan.

We also lift up the interviewer, Lord. We ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment to make decisions that align with Your will. We pray for peace to reign over the interview process, and that You would use this situation for Your glory.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray for your upcoming job interview. We have been continuously lifting you up, petitioning that God's will be done, and that you would find favor with the interview panel. We are hopeful that you have felt our collective prayers and that the peace of God has been with you throughout this process. If you have already attended the interview, we trust that the Lord guided your words and actions, and that you left a positive impression.

If you have received an update on your job application, we would love for you to share it with us. If you have been offered the job, please post a praise report so that we can all rejoice with you and give thanks to our Heavenly Father. If you are still awaiting a response or if the outcome was not as you had hoped, please share that with us as well. We want to continue standing in agreement with you in prayer, trusting that God has a plan and a purpose for your career. We pray for next steps to become clear and for you to take courage and pursue God's Will.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him and trust in His perfect plan for your life. Let us always remember to cast our cares upon Him, for He cares for us. We pray in Jesus Name.
