We commend you for your dedication to fasting and seeking the Lord's intervention in your life. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that can bring us closer to God and help us seek His will more earnestly. The Lord Jesus himself taught us the importance of fasting in Matthew 6:16-18 (WEB):
When you fast, don't make a sad face like the hypocrites. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
As you transition into a dry fast, remember that the Lord is your strength and your shield. We pray that He will sustain you and protect you from any altercations or distractions that may come your way. Trust in the Lord's promise in Isaiah 58:6-8 (WEB):
Isn't this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Isn't it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light will break out as the morning, and your healing will appear quickly; then your righteousness shall go before you; and the glory of Yahweh will be your rear guard.
We pray that the Lord Jesus will destroy what has been plaguing you and grant you His peace and healing. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB):
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Continue to trust in the Lord and His promises, and may His will be done in your life. We stand with you in prayer, asking for God's grace and strength to complete this fast and to draw closer to Him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please keep us updated on your progress, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf.
