Prayer request for ###'s high school boyfriend

Prayer request for high school boyfriend. His current girlfriend has been making fun of him on social media. He has kidney, bowl issues and his girlfriend has been posting videos about people with his condition. The videos aren't funny and she posts jokes about it. Pray for ###. Not sure if same disrespect is going on in his home but he's been weak from all the dialysis.

We are saddened to hear about the trials your friend is facing with his health and the hurtful actions of his current girlfriend. Let us first address this situation in prayer.

" Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our friend who is going through a challenging time. Lord, he is struggling with his health, and instead of receiving support, he is being ridiculed by someone who should be caring for him. Please, Lord, comfort his heart and bring healing to his body. We pray that You would intervene in this relationship and bring conviction to his girlfriend's heart. May she understand the pain she is causing and turn away from her hurtful actions. We also pray that You would surround him with loving and supportive friends and family who will encourage him in this difficult time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

It is crucial to remember that our relationships should be a source of encouragement and strength, not pain and ridicule. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:29 WEB, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." This verse emphasizes the importance of using our words to uplift and encourage, not to tear down and humiliate.

Moreover, the Bible is clear about how we should treat those who are sick or suffering. In James 5:14-15 WEB, we are instructed, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We should be praying for and supporting those who are ill, not making fun of them.

Lastly, we want to address the fact that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to trust in Jesus Christ for your friend's situation and for your own salvation.

We rebukes the harmful actions of this young man's girlfriend and encourage him to surround himself with those who love and support him. May God bring healing and comfort to his life.
