prayer request for renewed JOY IN THE LORD

Hello

My walk with Jesus has been very dry, distant, backslidden, and mostly lip-service.

PLEASE PRAY:
1) That ### will earnestly recommit to Jesus, seek His face, think His thoughts after Him; prioritizing ### time in prayer, Bible study, meditating on HIS Word.
2) That God will speak to ### and ### will have open ears to hear and feet and hands to obey and let Jesus would do a great work in ###. To search out any wicked ways in ### and then confess and repent of them, obedience and love to take up ### cross daily and seek first the kingdom of God.
3) That ### would see/feel/consider all the activities, possessions, fame, fortunes, status, of this fallen world as the temporary and nearly worthless stuff as compared to storing up treasures in heaven.
4) That ### would be filled with the Joy of the Lord, willingly entering into the fellowship of Christ's sufferings. To have the mindset of considering the tribulations of this present age as unworthy to be compared to the glory that will be revealed in ###. That HE would lead ### into a ministry according to the gifts of the Spirit, so when ### stand at the bema seat ### will hear well done good and faithful servant.
5) Salvation for ### family. They are all atheists. May GOD convict them of sin, the certainty of hell, and the free Gift of Jesus' salvation. That GOD would destroy their idols that they would cry out to HIM, and God would send people to share the Gospel with them.
6) Healing of ### tinnitus, hearing issues and herniated disc.
7) GOD's wisdom, guidance, and direction in what to do in this crumbling economy and culture; and the courage to stand for the Lord even though it cost ### relationships, life, property, freedom, and reputation.
8) Lastly, as the Holy Spirit leads you to pray for ###.

### sense that terrible things are going to befall this nation and world, and that God is telling ### that unless ### heart is right with HIM ### will faint in the day of battle, that HE wants ### to be like a city on a hill in sharing the Gospel, and that there be no hypocrisy in ###.

We understand your heart's cry and we are here to support you in prayer and biblical guidance. Let's first turn to the scriptures for some encouragement and wisdom.

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose confidence is in the LORD." (Jeremiah 17:7 WEB)

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our fellow believer. We ask that you renew their joy in your presence. Help them to recommit earnestly to Jesus, seeking His face and prioritizing time in prayer, Bible study, and meditation on Your Word. Open their ears to hear You, and their hands and feet to obey You. Search out any wicked ways in their life, and grant them a repentant heart and the power to turn away from sin.*

*Lord, help them to see the temporary nature of worldly activities, possessions, and status. Fill them with the joy of the Lord, even in the fellowship of Christ's sufferings. Guide them into a ministry according to the gifts of the Spirit, so that they may one day hear 'well done, good and faithful servant.'*

*Father, we claim salvation for their family. Convict their family members of sin, the reality of hell, and the free gift of salvation through Jesus. Destroy their idols and send people to share the Gospel with them.*

*Lord, we also ask for healing. Touch their body and heal their tinnitus, hearing issues, and herniated disc. Grant them wisdom, guidance, and courage to stand for You in this crumbling economy and culture, even if it costs them greatly.*

*Holy Spirit, lead us as we continue to pray for them. Prepare their heart for the days ahead, that they may be a city on a hill, sharing the Gospel with no hypocrisy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

We encourage you, dear friend, to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Remember, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:2 WEB)

Lastly, we note that your request focuses on the Lord, which is wonderful. Remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) Keep pursuing Him, and He will draw near to you.

We're right there with you, friend. We've been where you are, feeling that distance from Jesus, and we're here to lift you up in prayer. Let's focus on some promises God has for us, shall we?

"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." (James 4:8, ESV)

"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4, ESV)

Let's pray together, okay?

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, asking that you renew this person's joy in Your presence. Help them to draw near to You, to seek Your face, and to prioritize time in prayer, Bible study, and meditation on Your Word. Open their ears to hear Your voice, and their hands and feet to obey You. Search their heart, Lord, and grant them a repentant spirit, turning away from sin. Help them to see the temporary nature of worldly things and fill them with the joy of the Lord, even in the fellowship of Christ's sufferings. Guide them into a ministry that uses the gifts of the Spirit, so that one day they may hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant." We also ask for healing for their body, wisdom for their mind, and courage for their heart. And Holy Spirit, we ask that You prepare their heart for the days ahead, that they may be a city on a hill, sharing the Gospel with no hypocrisy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, dear friend. He's got you, and He's working in you. Trust in Him, and you'll find that joy again.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of ###, who desires to draw closer to You and renew their walk with Jesus. Lord, we ask that You stir their heart to earnestly seek Your face, as Your Word promises, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). Lead them to prioritize time in prayer, Bible study, and meditation on Your Word. May they hear Your voice clearly and respond in obedience, for Your Word says, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27).

Father, we ask that You do a great work in ###’s life. Search their heart and reveal any wicked ways within them, so that they may confess and repent (Psalm 139:23-24). Give them the strength to take up their cross daily and follow You, seeking first Your kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Lord, may they come to see the fleeting nature of worldly possessions and status, and instead store up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19-20).

Fill ### with the joy of the Lord, even in the midst of trials, as Your Word declares, “The joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). Grant them the perspective that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed in them (Romans 8:18). We ask that You lead ### into a ministry that aligns with the gifts of the Spirit, so that they may hear You say, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21).

Lord, we also lift up ###’s family, who do not yet know You. We pray for their salvation, that You would convict their hearts of sin and lead them to the truth of Jesus Christ (John 16:8). Destroy the idols in their lives and open their eyes to the free gift of salvation. We ask that You send people into their lives to share the Gospel, and that their hearts would be softened to receive it.

Father, we ask for healing over ###’s tinnitus, hearing issues, and herniated disc. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal, as Your Word says, “By His wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

Grant ### wisdom, guidance, and courage in navigating the challenges of this world. Your Word promises, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” (James 1:5). Help them stand firm in their faith, even if it costs relationships, property, or reputation. May they be a city on a hill, shining Your light for all to see (Matthew 5:14-16).

Lastly, Father, we ask that Your Holy Spirit continue to lead and guide ###, strengthening their heart for the battles ahead. Let there be no hypocrisy in them, and may they stand strong in Your truth. We offer this prayer in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
