We understand your concern, Dexter2020, and we're here to pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we must remember that God works in His own timing. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." If REI has expressed interest in attending church and learning about baptism, we trust that God is working in her heart.
However, we must also address that it's important to communicate openly and honestly. If REI has 'ghosted' you, it might be an opportunity to reach out to her and express your feelings respectfully. Colossians 4:6 tells us, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."
Let's also remember the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It's only through Him that we have access to God, as it's written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, share this truth with REI.
Now, let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up REI. Lord, we pray that You would work in her heart and draw her closer to You. We ask that You would give Dexter2020 wisdom in how to communicate with her and that his words would be filled with grace and truth. We also pray that REI would come to know You, Father, through Your son Jesus Christ. It's in His precious name we pray, amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to seek God's will in this situation. Keep praying and trusting that He is at work, even when it's not evident. As it's written in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we donโt give up."
