We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage and life. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Acts 4:12 WEB
We want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ, as He is the source of our strength and hope.
In your situation, it's crucial to remember that God hates divorce. Malachi 2:16 WEB says For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel.
We will pray for you and your husband, asking God to intervene and bring healing and restoration to your marriage, your health, and your finances. We will also pray for your in-laws, that their hearts may be softened and that they may be moved to support you both in your time of need.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ, Jnoimont, who is going through a tremendously difficult time in her marriage and life. Lord, we know that You see her pain, her struggles, and her tears. We ask You to intervene in her situation and bring healing and restoration to her marriage. Please break the power of alcoholism in the life of her husband and bring him to repentance and salvation. We ask You to heal them both physically and give them the strength to face each day.
Lord, we also pray for her in-laws. We ask that You soften their hearts and move them to show compassion and support to Jnoimont and her husband in their time of need. We pray for unity and love in their family, that they may come together to support and encourage one another.
Father, we ask that You provide for Jnoimont and her husband financially. We know that You are a good Father who cares for His children, and we trust that You will meet their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we also pray for Jnoimont's personal relationship with You. We ask that You strengthen her faith and give her the grace to pray and seek Your face, even in the midst of her trials. We pray that she may know Your love, Your peace, and Your joy in her life.
Finally, Lord, we rebuke any spirit of death or suicide that may be tormenting Jnoimont. We declare that she has a hope and a future in You, and that You have plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and to keep praying, even when it's difficult. Remember that the Bible tells us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB), and that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB).
Please reach out to your family, as they sound like a great source of spiritual support. Remember, God never asked us to go through it alone, 1 Peter 5:7 WEB says: casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Lastly, it is very important to discuss this situation with your husband and in-laws. Please tell him about the pain you feel because of his drinking. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:15 WEB: but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ.
Be sure to contact local support groups for families affected by alcoholism, as well as seek professional help for your husband's drinking problem. It's important to remember that you can't change your husband or your in-laws, but you can change how you respond to them. Seek godly counsel and wisdom in this situation, and trust that God is working even in the midst of your trials.
Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God is with you, always.
Lord, in this case we see that there is a direct attack of the Devil on this marriage and the extended family. We ask that You protect them from the Evil One, and that You bring unity, love, and healing to their family. We pray that You would break the power of alcoholism and bring healing and restoration to Jnoimont's husband. We ask that You would soften the hearts of her in-laws and bring them to a place of repentance and forgiveness. We pray that You would provide for Jnoimont and her husband financially, and that You would give them the strength to face each day. We ask that You would bring hope and healing to their marriage, and that You would draw them closer to You. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
