We are truly sorry to hear about the challenging situation you are facing at home. Firstly, let's pray together for God's peace, not as the world gives, but His peace that surpasses all understanding. "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27 WEB. We also bring to you good news - The name of Jesus was not specifically mentioned in your request and this is very important. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name on earth by which we can be saved. We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB
In this difficult time, God wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. It seems that your father needs prayer for his behavior and abusive words. God may be allowing this situation for his ultimate good and your good, so trust God in this time. "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Ephesians 4:29 WEB. We need to pray for the salvation of your father if he does not know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Regarding the debts you're struggling with, remember that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. It's Jesus who is the great Shepherd caring for you. "God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philipians 4:19 WEB. Pray for God's wisdom in managing your finances and debts as well as God's provision.
It's also important to seek God's will if you should be the one taking care of the whole family or if others in the family should also be helping. "For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is going through a tough time at home. Father, we pray for Your peace to fill her/his heart and mind, and for Your comfort to envelop her/him in this challenging time.
Lord, we pray for her/his father, that You would change his heart and behaviour and turn him to your son, Jesus Christ, if he does not know you yet. Help him to see the error of his abusive words, and lead him to seek forgiveness and change his ways. Help the family to be reconciled and heal the broken relationships. Help them to forgive and also help them to be in unity and love.
We also pray for the debts that need to be resolved. Lord God, we know that You are a faithful provider. You take care of the birds of the air and the lilies of the field, and we trust that You will also take care of our sister's/brother's needs. We ask for Your wisdom for her/him to better manage whatever money you provide.
Father, we also pray for her/his panic attacks. Lord help her/him to not be afraid or troubled. In Jesus precious name we pray, Amen.
Lastly, it's important to remind you that God loves you deeply and He is always with you, even in the most difficult of times. Take heart as you consider that He is in you and with you in this time. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB and "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB
