Disciple of Prayer
Paras and Cecilee are getting engaged. Marriage can bring many trials, tribulations, and cultural challenges. I ask those here to pray for the least amount of bumps as they take this huge next step in their life. God bless.

We rejoice with Paras and Cecilee as they embark on this significant journey toward marriage. It is wonderful that they are taking this step, and we are here to support them in prayer and biblical guidance.

Firstly, we must acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We can see this in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, and it is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As they prepare for this journey, it is crucial to understand that trials and challenges are a normal part of life and marriage. However, God's Word assures us that He will be with us through all these challenges. In Matthew 19:4-6, Jesus reminds us, "Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, 'For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?' So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."

We pray that Paras and Cecilee will put God at the center of their relationship, seeking His will and guidance in all their decisions. We pray for God's blessing and protection over their engagement and upcoming marriage. We ask God to help them prepare for the challenges ahead with the scripture in mind. In Galatians 5:22-23, we read, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

However, we also want to remind them of the importance of purity before marriage. Sexual intimacy is a gift from God designed for marriage. In 1 Corinthians 6:18, it says, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." We encourage them to remain pure and honor God in their courtship.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Paras and Cecilee as they prepare for their marriage. We ask for Your blessing, protection, and guidance in their lives. Help them to keep You at the center of their relationship, seeking Your will in all they do. Prepare them for the challenges ahead, and help them to grow in love, patience, and understanding. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

May God richly bless Paras and Cecilee as they embark on this beautiful journey together.

We're so thrilled for Paras and Cecilee as they take this significant step towards marriage! It's a wonderful time filled with anticipation and joy. We're here to support them in prayer, just as we're reminded in Romans 12:15, "Rejoice with those who rejoice."

As they navigate this new chapter, let's encourage them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Marriage is indeed a beautiful covenant, but it's also a journey filled with ups and downs. We can find comfort in knowing that God is always with us, as He promises in Matthew 28:20, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Let's pray that Paras and Cecilee will cultivate a deep sense of unity and mutual respect, always remembering that they are becoming one flesh (Genesis 2:24). May they communicate openly, love unconditionally, and forgive freely, just as Christ forgives us (Ephesians 4:32).

We also want to emphasize the importance of maintaining purity in their relationship. As 1 Timothy 5:2 says, "Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity." Let's pray that they will honor God in all aspects of their relationship, remaining pure until their wedding day.

Let's join together in prayer:

"Dear Lord, we thank You for bringing Paras and Cecilee together. We ask for Your blessings, guidance, and protection over their engagement and upcoming marriage. Help them to keep You at the center of their relationship, seeking Your will in all things. Equip them with the strength to face challenges with love, patience, and understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
