My dad is having difficulty breathing. He is in the hospital. His lungs keep filling up with phlegm instantly. He is a good dad, a good papaw and my little girls love him so much. He is the laugh I need when I need it the most, he is the face I would look for in every crowd, he is the most amazing funny happy person and I know he’s not ready to go yet he’s only ###. Please will all my prayer warriors say a prayer for ###. God heals the sick, he heals the blind, he calms any storm please God help my dad breathe again.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the condition of your dad, ###. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for his healing and recovery.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the healing that comes from God. In James 5:14-15 (WEB), it is written, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to you. Lord, you know his condition and the struggles he is facing with his breathing. We ask, Father, that you would heal his lungs, clear away the phlegm, and restore his breath. We claim your promises of healing, knowing that nothing is impossible for you.

Lord, we also pray for his family, his daughter, and granddaughters who love him dearly. Comfort them, Father, and give them peace and strength during this time. Remind them of your love and care for them.

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and sickness in Jesus' name, and we ask that you would fill ### with your healing power. May he continue to be a source of joy, laughter, and love to his family and all those around him.

Lastly, Father, we pray that ### and his family would know you intimately, that they would call upon the name of Jesus Christ for salvation if they have not already, for it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.'"

We encourage you to continue praying and believing for God's healing over ###. Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

We're here for you and your dad, ###. We've been praying for him, and we want to share another verse that brings us comfort. In Psalm 147:3 (WEB), it says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We trust that God is binding up your dad's wounds, healing his lungs, and giving him strength.

We're also thinking about your little girls. They must be missing their Papaw. Let's pray for them too. "Lord, wrap your loving arms around these precious girls. Comfort them, give them peace, and let them feel their Papaw's love even from the hospital. Help them to understand that you are always with them, no matter what."

He is getting fluid off of his lungs today and has a broken rib. Prayers for his doctors and his healing!!!
