Let us come together and lift up our Native American elderly brothers and sisters living on reservations, who are facing difficult living conditions. We are told in the Bible to "honor your father and your mother" (Exodus 20:12, WEB), which extends to respecting and caring for all our elders.
Firstly, we must address the immediate concern. The smell of strong gas leaks is not only unpleasant but also dangerous. We pray for their safety, that the Lord will protect them from any harm. In Psalm 91:11 (WEB), God promises, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." We ask for His divine intervention to ensure the authorities responsible take swift action to rectify this issue.
We also pray for healing for those who have fallen sick due to these conditions. We claim the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
Furthermore, we must remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that our prayers are heard. As it is written, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13, WEB). If anyone is not aware of this truth, we encourage you to believe in Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Lastly, let us pray for comfort and strength for our elderlies during this trying time. That they may know the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Anonymous, to continue praying fervently for them, and if possible, to also take actions that can help improve their living conditions, for "faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself" (James 2:17, WEB).
